The Role of Abaddon and Belial in Myth and Legend

Introduction Abaddon and Belial are discussed in many theological and mythical traditions. These two strong characters are frequently connected to chaos, deceit, and devastation. In spite of their responsibilities being different, they both deal with rebellion and power over evil powers. Abaddon: The Destructive Angel Abaddon is frequently portrayed as a destructive power, an angel, and at times a demonic entity. His name means "destruction" or "the abyss." This emphasizes his association with chaos and the underworld. In accordance with certain theories, he leads hordes of supernatural creatures that wreak havoc and deliver plagues upon the planet. Even though Abaddon is a terrifying figure, he is not always depicted as wholly malevolent. In many traditions, he is seen as an enforcer of divine will.
